My secret pregnancy

Nine days after I arrived in Malaysia, I did the math in my head. Again. Three pregnancy tests, and they had all been negative. But my math couldn’t be that far off, could it? So I finally stopped waiting and took another test, my heart pounding. The second pink line appeared in seconds and instantly heart rejoiced while my body screamed why are you doing this to me again???? (My pregnancy withtell me the rest!

Winter wellness: getting on top of the crud before the crud gets on top of you

It’s everywhere. Everyone and their mom and their mom’s dog is slowly disappearing from the church pews, from the office cubicle, from the normal routine of life into a pile of blankets and crumpled tissues. Except the mamas don’t get to disappear because they still have to run life as normal, so there’s that. But really, at this time of the year, it’s almost impossible to find a family that’stell me the rest!

Frolicking in the Lavender fields: Young Living’s International Grand Convention 2017

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even consider going to Convention until I heard Carrie Underwood would be performing. Sure, it would be a great experience but I didn’t want to spend the money and what on earth was I going to do with my 13 month old while I was gone, anyway? Then I found out Carrie would be performing and I told my husband that for the first time, tell me the rest!

A bottle to kill the crud, first aid kit in liquid form, and an oil more valuable than gold: March edition

One of my favorite oils is also one of the most expensive. Historically, it was used to treat every illness known to man. In Biblical times it was considered more valuable than gold. It can support dry skin, boost immunity, calm stress, relieve post-baby blues–oh, and it’s such a powerful oil the three wise men gave it to baby Jesus in the Bible. Any idea what this incredible oil could be?tell me the rest!

So yesterday I took him to the doctor…

Thursday morning was the first time we’ve ever had to take my son to a doctor. Being in the essential oils business, there’s a lot of pressure to keep my kid healthy–that’s what my product is supposed to do, isn’t it? Yes. While I believe that “there’s an oil for that” in just about every circumstance, sometimes kids need doctors. I was honestly a little scared about taking my son totell me the rest!
